Great food, cozy and romantic atmosphere. Had the best duck confit I've ever tried. It's always crowded, so best to go at odd times (like late on a Tuesday night). Upstairs is the main restaurant, which I haven't tried.

I love this restaurant. It's been around for a while and doesn't seem to get too much attention, but I've had some of my best meals in New York here. The Veal Milanese is fantastic, and all the desserts are excellent. With wine, can get expensive very quickly.

Italian small plates and a wine bar. Fun and a bit trendy, good for sharing food with a group of people.

BYOB Sushi bar. Tight, dimly lit, a bit hipster... but best sushi in the city for the price. Good idea to make a reservation beforehand.

Tiny restaurant that borders between being cozy and uncomfortable. I'm guessing this is the equivalent of French comfort food- simple and straight-forward, but extremely satisfying. And the prices are reasonable.
